Summary:
The Customer Service Representative role performs a variety of duties in order to support the medical staff and our patients at Integrated Health of Southern Illinois.
The position requires excellent customer service skills with patients and a desire to be a team player.
Individual must be flexible, organized and able to manage a demanding workload with accuracy.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Greets patients on the telephone, responds to inquiries, directs callers to appropriate personnel, or initiates a task for response by medical personnel and maintains voicemails.
Handling correspondence and file transfers such as the inflow and outflow of information by assisting with scans, fax, and other internal forms of communication.
Obtains patient demographic and verifies information as needed updating necessary patient information to meet current Federal guidelines and Meaningful Use guidelines for electronic medical records.
Collecting balances owed by credit card.
Scheduling appointments.
Identifying and resolving minor patient billing complaints.
Assists other teams, medical receptionist, scheduling as needed.
Ensures an efficient and professional standard is maintained at all times Meets or exceeds organizational goals set forth.
Other duties assigned by Manager.
Rate of Pay:
$15.
00/hr minimum- 17.
00 hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications) Education &
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent 1 Year experience of Medical Scheduling Computer proficiency and 10 Key Typing minimum 40 wpm Promotes effective communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
